Hello!
Hello Dear Reader; so sorry for the long break in service, unfortunately i became very ill last month and a particularly nasty bout of Tonsillitis landed me in A&E and spending a night in Hospital on a ward with some ‘interesting’ characters to say the least! To the amusement of Mr.C the being so ill and in hospital wasn’t the problem for me, even as they were hooking me up to the IV i was moaning that i was missing out on a play-date with my lovely friend Sue and some of our other SU team mates! I would like to have a few mins to gush about how wonderful my lovely friend Sue is as despite being at training all day she came and visited me in hospital even though she still had the long drive home; bringing with her a card from my team :) Here’s a picture i pinched from Sue’s blog of the card because the actual card is upstairs in my special things box.
I had been due to supply one of the demo inspiration tables and had been working flat out for it, all of which was left half done on the dining table and there it stayed for two weeks until Mr.C scooped it in to a box so that it was slightly tidier in the living room. Unfortunately i have no mojo at the moment, but it best return this weekend as i have another play-date booked next week and its a whole weekend :D I am so excited Me and Sue and my Upline Bekka are off to the Stampin’ Up! UK training event taking place in Telford on the Saturday and as it is quite a drive we decided to make a weekend of it. But that means i have swaps, shoebox projects, a name badge so hopefully i shall feel in the mood this weekend.
So in all that the Blog slid a little bit, as i am sure you understand. Although i was only in Hospital overnight {thankfully} it has taken me a very long time to feel even close to normal as other underlying conditions took complete advantage of me being laid up to take their turn. I am still not driving but can just about manage a walk to the shop and back as long as i lay down afterwards! I shall be back very soon to update you with all the latest news from Stampin’ Up! and some projects that i had made for the inspiration table.
Until then

Bunny Easter Carton
Morning Dear Reader; another Easter project for you this time filled with a Lindt Gold Bunny.
This image is from the every bunny stamp set which i coloured with watercolour wonder crayons and a blender pen to give him a vintage faded look. I then mounted him up with various dies and punches and finished it off with a length of so saffron ribbon; and of course i added an itty bitty flower.

woyww? March 26th 2013
Good morning Dear Reader and all woyww’ers; do you still have snow?! Some one needs to remind Mother Nature that we would like some Spring please!! The snow is finally starting to melt here but apparently we have more to come at the end of the week…….Joy! O well i can’t control the weather but i can craft and i plan to make my own version of spring this week by making lots of springy {is that a word?!} projects.
But for now here is my desk as it ends Tuesday; it will see no action apart from a tidy up as we have family over today.
Practically the same as it was last week but with a load of Stampin’ Up! party invites and what not's dumped on top as i decided to spring clean all weekend starting with our bedroom where i found i had loads of craft bits that had somehow got up there so they needed to come back down to the craft area. I drove Mr.C potty as always when i get bit by the tidy bug as i am normally the poster girl for organised chaos, but when get the urge to purge the clutter i go all out but i also have a habit of not finishing each room before starting another! lol so once he had pulled me up on that and we’d finished the upstairs before starting on my craft area i managed to set myself up a cutting and big-shotting or should that be shooting(?) area. The new computer desk means that the girls craft stuff has vacated my sideboard so i have organised it much better.
So i now have my big shot all ready to go with my punches next to it, i have my trimmer, guillotine, and scoreboard in one drawer and all my dies and embossing folders in the other, its the perfect height for cutting and die cutting and if i lift my big shot away the lamp makes for a perfect place for taking my blog photos.
Well that's my workspace for this week i shall go and tidy my main desk area before the school run so that i am free to hop round blogs until my grandparents arrive for lunch; i hope to get round as many as possible but at the very least to every one who visits me.
Until Next time

Easter Milk Cartons
Morning Dear Reader; i thought i would add in a few bonus posts as due to my computer troubles of the last few weeks i have quite a few Easter projects to share with you before the weekend.
So here’s today’s project;
I have shown you these earlier before they were finished but i thought that i would show you them up-close.
These where cut from the subtles colour family using the mini milk carton big shot die, the DSP is the birds of a feather stack which i have said before i am totally in love with so expect to see more of it! :) The sentiment is from the every bunny stamp set which i punched with the oval punch and back with a scallop oval an flower punched using the itty bitty punch set that is 3 little punches perfect for little accents. These were filled with 3 Galaxy Caramel mini eggs but they can fit a variety of chocolate treats in them.

Stippled Blossoms
Afternoon Dear Reader; how's the weather where you are? We have a reasonable amount of snow at the moment i really wish would go as i am really over winter i am bored of wearing tons of layers and i want to get my washing out on the line and smelling of fresh air rather than tumble dryer sheets!! I know easily pleased eh? lol But the cold weather does have advantages …. time to craft! As if we need an excuse!! lol
So on to today’s project;
It is an Easter card using the lovely Stippled Blossoms stamp set which is just the most beautiful flower. Its a 2-step stamp set meaning that there is a stamp for the main block of the back ground, which is best stamped in a lighter colour and then another stamp to add the detail in in a darker colour. I hand cut the flowers and leaves once i had stamped them before arranging on a whisper white panel that was then mounted on a Lucky Limeade card blank. I think that this could easily be adapted for any occasion just by changing the sentiment.
I shall be back soon with more Easter Projects

Happy Birthday and Thank You
Well Hello Dear Reader, today is my blogs 2nd Birthday i can’t believe i have been blogging for 2 whole years this also means that my love affair with Stampin’ Up! started 2 years ago now as well! In that time it has many designs as i have tried to find one that i truly love, i think I'm there now as the new header shows most of the crafts i love including lace, paper craft and sewing.
I would like to say thank you to all that read my blog and comment i love when you comment it feels like I'm not just talking to myself. And thank you also to all that follow me it means so much that you like what i create and share with you.
In the last two years my life has changed so much and a lot of that is due to stamping, by joining Stampin’ Up! i have met lots of lovely people some of whom are now some of my dearest friends and who i could not imagine life with out now. But i have also met people within the community that i live who i would not have met otherwise; i knew absolutely no one when i moved to Saffron Walden apart from Mr.C’s family and by introducing people to what i do and what i can offer them i have met lots of new people and increased my social life ten-fold! If it had not been for the fact that i was on the Stampin’ Up Demo finder; i would never have known about the great crop i now attend a few villages away i am so grateful for that as it is a fab place to go and craft and the people are so lovely and welcoming.
So in short its been fab I've loved it thanks for reading and here’s to another year :)
I shall be back tomorrow with a new project for you.
Until then

woyww? March 19th 2013
Hello Dear Reader; today is Wednesday {well 5pm Tuesday night but my desk won’t change between now and then :) } so that is when crafters from across the globe bare all and show their desks in varying degrees of the creative process. If you would like to know more hop along to the queen of this massive blog hop Julia at the Stamping Ground, but do join if you can its is great fun and highly addictive.
So here is my now two desks as due to the computer issue we have had to have a desktop and so that meant a new desk so in this picture you can see both. I am currently sitting typing at the computer under the stairs which is actually a desk from my old room at my grandparents house and do you know that now that the computer is in another room i am actually getting more work done as i don't keep getting distracted by pinterest!!
Not a lot on my desk at the moment a few stamp sets as Mr.C had me stamp a wooden box for him to keep all his seeds in that also looked nice on the shelf as the shed would be too cold and damp a place for the seeds (?! so he says i don’t know!) i plan to have a big tidy up as i did a craft fair at the weekend and the boxes are not unpacked yet and then i can get on with preparing for my next events. Also its craft night at mine again today so i shall have to be tidy so that we can all have somewhere to sit down! :D If you would like to see the results of my suitcase boot fair find you can find it on yesterdays post.
I am planning to hop around to as many desks as i can today.
Until next time

Up-cycled Vintage Suitcase
So my project to share with you is the vintage suitcase that i had told you about a few weeks ago that i had found at a boot sale that Mr.C had not wanted me to buy…. Well i did and i got to work with my staple gun and here it is as a display stand for a craft fair that i attended on Sunday in Chelmsford.
Here you can see it is all full with some of my wares for the day and i have just noticed that one of the cards had fallen down but this is the only photo i had taken as i had forgotten my camera so you will have to forgive me the poor photo.
As you can see i have completely upholstered the inside with fabric as it had a wooden frame that i could staple into. Then i raised the height of the bottom layer with a trusty cardboard box cut and shaped to fit the base. I then covered a board as i would for a notice board without the ribbons as a flat surface for my gift boxes to rest on. The lid of the suitcase has been turned into a no pin notice board with Stampin’ Up! gorgeous vintage faceted designer buttons and large pearls with add a bit off sparkle {and cover the staples ;) lol}
I will be back later in the week with details of my Easter gift baskets, But for now just a quick reminder that Sale-a-Bration ends in 3 days so if there are any products you NEED from this fantastic promotion please be sure to get your order to me by 1pm Friday afternoon so that i can get it processed for you before the deadline.

Hello Dear Reader and woyww’ers can you believe that it is already nearly the end of February already!?! I know i can’t; this year is flying by. I have been very busy this week getting things ready for a Spring Fair that is coming up in March.
Lots of chocolate to fill lots of treats with and the mini milk cartons that i had been making the other week are now finished and here they are;All finished and full to the brim of chocolate eggs! :)
So for the rest of the day i shall be cracking on with more Easter baskets. Me and Mr.C did a boot sale at the weekend to clear some of the junk we seemed to have accumulated and after clearing lots of the junk and ending up in good profit i relieved the man on the next pitch of a vintage steamer trunk that i have good ideas for and visions of it becoming a display piece for my wares, i will share with you once it is done.
It’s craft group tonight at mine, so i had best get on so i can get cleared up for all the ladies to come too i love how social crafting can be.

Up and Away….
Hello dear reader; hope you are well? I have spent the day shopping with Mr.C as he has had the day off today, i am all shopped out now and having a well earned rest.
Todays project uses the Up Up and Away stamp set; i love this set its such a ‘happy’ set; i still get excited seeing a hot air balloon in the sky you never expect them do you so its always a nice surprise.
I have used the 2011-2013 In Colours here I’m really going to miss them when they retire at the end of the year, they’re such fresh spring-like colours. The background was embossed with the polka dot folder and the clouds where made using the cupcake punch finished off with a bit of bakers twine.
I shall be playing with lots of lovely new stamps this weekend and i have more due Monday – Shh! don’t tell Mr.C! I hope you have a great weekend and I'll be back on Monday.

Last week i said guess what i had been upto by the state of my desk and i had some interesting answers; the one i loved the most is that someone thought i had ready roll icing on my desk. :) Alas no it was wadding and i had been giving my staple gun a work out and i will share the pics with you below the usual desk shot so here is the main event…my desk;
I went for a slightly different angle here for a change, there is a little activity on my desk for a change i had just finished a project and was gearing up for some full on colouring, when Mr UPS came and drop off a parcel so that is what you see on my desk a new stamp set that i am itching to use, the colouring will take a back seat now. Also on my desk is some lovely new DSP my new year challenge to myself was to use more DSP there is some many lovely designs to chose from and i mostly stamp my backgrounds being a stamper of old when
Here is the redo of my desk space.
So i redid my no pin notice board this is a gorgeous Tilda fabric that i fell in love with at our local hab dash.
I also came across 2 metres of this fabulous Clarke and Clarke fabric at half off, so i HAD to have it!! and there was enough to re-upholster my seat pad and foot stall with enough left to re-do them again should they get dirty- result! The pink on my chair is temporary until i can get a fabric that i love to redo those bits too.
So that’s my desk this week; i did wonder last week if fans of my clock, which i always get lovely comments on noticed that it had changed colour but no one noticed! lol Because of the fabric change i swapped the cream clock for the pink one we have in the bedroom. A commentor suggested that i should stamp its face.. if i did that Mr.C would kill me; as these are something that he brought me because i loved them in a shop in our town and their ‘designer’ apparently and cost a pretty penny! Designer or not i just love their style and am lusting after a HUGE one for my kitchen.
Well i shall leave you now thank you for visiting, sorry for the long post Julia! Please leave a comment i love to read them i have moderate turned on so we don’t have to deal with the infernal letter recognition thingy, I will try and get round as many desks as possible this afternoon.
Until next time

Happiest Birthday
Good morning, we are forecast bad weather today so after dropping M at school i plan on hunkering down and stamping – any excuse eh? lol
Today’s project is a birthday card made for my husbands Nan;
It looks really involved but was actually very quick, thanks to the Labels Framelit dies, i really love how So Saffron and Crumb Cake work so well together. The stamp set is Apothecary Art which co-ordinates with the framelits perfectly the flower wreath was coloured with the markers finished off with a So Saffron bow.

Bloomin’ Marvellous!
Firstly i am sorry this is Friday’s post, my problems with blogger continued over the weekend so i decided to start again today with a new week. Finger’s crossed this will post correctly!
Morning All, I hope that you have had a good weekend? I have a poorly M off school today she has suspicious spots that could be chicken pox so i need to take her to the doctors to see what they are before she can go back to school. Unfortunately she is missing a school trip to the local museum and is desperately trying to convince us that she is well but the thermometer is not on her side and shows that she still has the fever from Saturday! Bless her i hate that she is missing out.
Todays card is made using the Sale-a-Bration {SAB} stamp set Bloomin’ Marvellous i really like this set so you will be seeing more of it i am sure. The card was inspired by a card i saw on an American Demo called Lyssa’s blog the embossing folder is also part of the SAB selection of goodies that you can earn for FREE with a qualifying order. I made these for a card front swap that was organised between the team i belong to.

woyww- January 23rd 2013
Morning All!! I have the dreaded lurgy this week and no voice {prob to the joy of my hubby } so i think i will be able to get round tons of desks as I've been told by hubby to do nothing so apart from school runs that is what i intend to do.
SO here’s my desk this morning, as i was ill in bed all weekend hubby did a scoop and drop from dining table to here so that we could have his birthday tea yesterday the big rosette is what i had made to go on his cake. There’s some remnants of the brown paper that our SU goodies come protected by because i flatten it all down and slice it through my guillotine and make bedding for our guinea piggy's other than that not much exciting. The card up in the air on the wall is on bakers twine ‘washing lines’ where i hang bits to dry or just keep safe till I'm finished will be in one of my upcoming classes.
Happy desk hopping every one

For the one you love…
Morning All; today i thought i would share with you a Valentines card that i designed for a class that i taught earlier in the month using the You are Loved stamp set.
Now there is no such thing really as a manly Valentines Card but i did try by using the gorgeous midnight muse as my main colour its a lovely rich colour i have used it tons lately as i just love how well it co ordinates with so many different colour pallets. This time i paired it with rose red {so a tiny bit of pink!} and here’s a sneak peak of an upcoming Sale-a-bration can you spot the new item? I have added a bit of bling with a couple of flowers from the Itty Bitty Punch i have used this punch so much and it comes in a set of 3 so they’re great value, and a butterfly from glimmer paper the perfect way to use glitter with out the mess!
Unfortunately my lovely husband has seen this card as i prepped for my class so i shall have to come up with another for him!

Morning all that follow time for our weekly snoop around the crafty desks of the world.
If you are not sure what i am talking about pop over to queen Julia at Stamping Ground and join us in our weekly snoop :)
So my desk today……
A bit of a mess! I had a delivery yesterday from Stampin’ Up! so i spent the morning wearing a tread in the carpet by the window stalking the UPS man! Under the new DSP you can just see the new Sale-a-bration Catalogues and the new upcoming Spring/Summer Seasonal that i have had to hide as i can’t show you all their loveliness just yet! Some people asked me where i store my stamps last week; well at the top of the photo you can see that i have two sets of shelves above my desk and they are both full with stamps on the tope shelf behind all the 12x12 there are even more Stamps! I have a mix of wood and clear mount. I also have retired SU stamps in a cupboard behind my desk and a huge box of my Penny black collection that i have had since i was 8 that i cant bare to part with under our bed.
I shall try to get round as many desks as possible today; its very cold here today with more Snow forecast so i shall be feeding logs to our fire today, my youngest got up this morning and said ‘come on Daddy go get the logs Mr Fire will be hungry!’ bless!

Birds of a Feather
Morning! I went to a crop last weekend that i was also teaching a class at; now i don’t know about you but i just cannot pack lightly for crops my hubby snapped a picture of what i took before he loaded it into the car it took 4 trips!
So i have all the prepared materials for my class plus bits for me to join the crop after, i always seem to take loads as I'm never sure what I'll feel like doing i think i took 12 stamp sets in the end!
I did come up with a card design though after lunch using the Birds of a Feather Dsp.
How gorgeous is this paper?!?! this is just one of the designs that you get in the pack and you get 2 of each double sided sheet! I used the ever on my desk Curly Cute stamp set for the sentiment. What do you think?
I liked them so much that i made 5 more! These will go in my box i like to have thank you cards on hand you never know when some one will do you a good turn and i like to say thanks.

Up, Up and Away……
Good morning i have been doing a bit of spring cleaning of the old memory card and found some pictures of projects that i took and forgot to show you so i shall be posting them over the next few weeks. I have also decided that this year i am going to post three times a week a Monday, what's on your workdesk Wednesday and on a Friday, I plan to schedule the Monday and Friday posts so you may get a bonus post from me on other days if you are lucky
Todays card uses the Up, Up & Away stamp set from the main catalogue.
I used a crumb cake base {my favourite base} and the 2011-2013 in colours i recessed the sentiment using the word window punch. I finished it off with some bakers twine.
I love this set it is perfect for everyone, its just such a happy set. The sentiment is now retired, but one from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments set would fit in perfectly.
