woyww- January 23rd 2013

Morning All!! I have the dreaded lurgy this week and no voice {prob to the joy of my hubby Winking smile } so i think i will be able to get round tons of desks as I've been told by hubby to do nothing so apart from school runs that is what i intend to do.  Smile

DSC00317

SO here’s my desk this morning, as i was ill in bed all weekend hubby did a scoop and drop from dining table to here so that we could have his birthday tea yesterday the big rosette is what i had made to go on his cake.  There’s some remnants of the brown paper that our SU goodies come protected by because i flatten it all down and slice it through my guillotine and make bedding for our guinea piggy's other than that not much exciting.  The card up in the air on the wall is on bakers twine ‘washing lines’ where i hang bits to dry or just keep safe till I'm finished will be in one of my upcoming classes.

Happy desk hopping every one

Until Next time

So sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well!! But...you have a free pass on housework, *wink*!!!

And yes, I'd rather buy more storage than purge. I had done a good job of it before moving 6 months ago, but gosh, the stuff just multiplies so fast, lol!!!! Shopping had nothing to do with it! Am I a crafter? Or a craft collector?? Not sure anymore!!!

Feel better soonest, OK? Hugs!

Yes your right about not counting your stash and anyway if I started counting my stamps I'd fall asleep before I got a quarter of the way through - have hundreds (and hundreds).
Hope you are feeling better soon.
Thanks for visiting my blog, your comments are much appreciated.

LOL! Cage bedding from crafting? I suspect I could shred 1/2 my paper stash and not miss it, but I can't seem to make myself purge even a bit of it LOL!

Happy WOYWW

I just purged my stash... AND bought extra storage too, so you can imagine what kind of state I keep my craft space in! I do hope you fell better soon, and get your voice back so you can tell your hubby that your crafting desk is not a dumping ground for extras from the dining room! Lol
Have a brilliant woyww

I am in the process of purging my stash, but I know it will make no real difference to the amount of stuff lying around. Not to mention the extra I buy because I need it. Hope you soon feel much better, but lay off the housekeeping, it might bring on a relapse. xx Maggie #20

Love the idea of having a washing for things to dry on although I'm so impatient everything gets zapped with the heat gun.
