WOYWW? December 19th 2012

Morning; my desk is very busy yesterday and today so i took a few shots for you.
DSC00139DSC00140
This was my desk mid morning yesterday, in process of some cardmaking i was in the zone and made a good 25 by forcing my self to use up scraps and bits that i had stamped and then not used.
DSC00141And this was my desk by the end of the night as while i was crafting i was also multi tasking in the kitchen gingerbread on one work surface and vanilla and chocolate bean shortbread to do our thank you gifts for the teachers, lollypop man, bin men, and the postie.
DSC00143
And here are the boxes i made with some DSP and the simply scored and a bit of acetate for the lids.

If we are not WOYWW-ing next week as its Christmas day then i hope that you all have a lovely Christmas and New Year, and thanks for the fun this year and all the hours snooping about your desks.
ETA: i have managed to get round to all 58 posted links so far this morning any others posted after now i may get to in the week xx thanks for stopping by

Congratulations

Hello All, hope you are well? Now; as most people will have put their Christmas cards in the hands of the Royal Mail i thought i would move on from Christmas projects.
So here is a card i made for my lovely friend and upline Bekka when she reached a milestone with her business.
scentsational season congratulations glimmer paper craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2012 23-10-2012 01-21-41

On a crumb cake base i spritzed with early espresso marker and then stamped the star from the scentsational season stamp set in various shades of brown and then stamped the sentiment from curly cute stamp set.  I then cut some stars from champagne glimmer paper with the holiday framelits to add a bit of bling.

woyww December 5th 2012

Morning, i was rudely awoken today by two small very excited girls shouting that it was snowing and there was snow everywhere, so am currently trying to do all the morning jobs with an ear out to see if the school is open or not as we usually get told on the radio.

DSC03049

Not much going on on the old desk, you can see the book tree that i finished, some gingerbread men my friend gave me that hopefully will turn in to a decoration this year but that's about it.  Today i shall be mostly finishing Christmas card orders for friends and family, whilst watching Elf.

Until next time

Fabric no pin notice board

Good morning; hope you are all well? Today i am sharing with you the last project in my collection for the magazine the no pin notice board that i made.

no pin notice board twitterpated fabric staple gun craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp images Stampin' Up! © 2012 20-09-2012 21-17-18

These boards are very easy to make i have made tons of them now for myself and for friends; this one incidentally i gave to my lovey friend and upline Bekka for her birthday earlier in the year.  You make yourself handy with a staple gun a piece of board some wadding and some gorgeous fabric this one is from the twitterpated collection of fabric then stretch tight as you staple all around the edge. Then i used the gorgeous lucky limeade ruffled ribbon to cross the board to make the places to tuck your mementoes into i also stapled at each cross point because i like the way it looks.  I love making these boards am even thinking of changing my one on my desk again!

Book Christmas Tree

Morning; hope all is well with you.  So the tree from a book is finished!  Now this isn't my idea i have no idea where the original idea came from but i found my inspiration on my friend Emily’s blog.

paperback book tree christmas craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-louise Camp 2012 22-11-2012 00-09-34

So this was a copy of Mansfield Park and took me about an hour and a half to fold the 300+ pages whilst chatting to friends at craft group the other night.  I then sponged with different inks and champagne shimmer paint so it has a gorgeous shimmer.  Once happy with the colour i decorated with some linen thread vintage brads and little off cuts of crumb cake seam binding, and early espresso tulle.  The base pot was made using a little pot that had a previously housed the most gorgeous chocolate mouse.

I am now scouring the local charity shops for paperbacks as i want to make more!

A tag for your presents

Morning, i don’t know about you but i love to wrap Christmas presents i even wrap family members presents in exchange for pizza ;) i love it that much.  I’m very much a wrap in brown paper then jazz up with pretties it means i always have paper no matter what the occasion.
christmas tag scentsational season festival of prints craftylittlemoo.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp images Stampin' Up! 2012
This tag was made with scraps from the card i posted on Tuesday so these will be going to the same person.  Its a crumb cake label with a scrappy strip of lucky limeade DSP and festival of prints DSP with a gingerbread man on top, then poked a hole and added a loop of bakers twine -  simple.  It only took me a few minutes, used up a few scraps on my desk and will look fab on a parcel especially when the recipient opens the card and sees that they’re matched. I will probably wrap the present with some of the new sweater trim cord before tying the tag on.

Merry Bunting

Hello good morning, last night we had a meeting of the Saffron Walden Craft Group, we had ‘such fun!’ it’s great to be able to craft in company – not that i got that much done i was too busy chatting! lol If you are local email me about coming to the next one you’d be more than welcome.

Today’s project is the bunting from my festive makes; made with the perfect pennants die and the scentsational season stamps and matching framelits.

christmas bunting scentsational season craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com  20-09-2012 21-38-21

I love bunting, this one is currently hung in my craft space but i do plan {at some point!} to make a Christmas one to finish the set i am thinking how fab it would look over my hall mirror.  Now i did cut all the bits and thought there was something not quite about it so i embossed the green layer with the square lattice folder just that simple step made all the difference.

A quick reminder that there is only 8 days to take advantage of the fantastic joining offers for November so if you have ever thought about it why not contact me now and we can get you started.

WOYWW? November 21st 2012

Well hello to all that follow time for a snoop around creative desks

DSC03005

Not much going on yet, the Jane Austen book i am turning into a Christmas tree later today, the scotch tape i plan to use the card board label that's in side as a template to make a pretty tape dispenser ;) other than that some retired papers i used for my daughters party invites.  I shall be baking today though as it is craft group night tonight at mine so i think we need cake lol.

Gingerbread man tree ornament

Morning, hope you are well? Something a little different today an ornament for your tree;

scentsational season craftylittlemoo.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp images Stampin' Up! © 2012 (2)

So i love this cute little guy from the Scentsational Season set; i just had to have him in my decorations so i made this ornament.  I used the simply scored board to make a rosette that i glued between two small circles of card to keep it flat {i weighed it down with the stamp block while it dried} i then used one of the circles from the petit pennants die which i threaded with cherry cobbler seam binding to make a sort of wreath effect, then a small circle of festival of print DSP topped off with the gingerbread man and pearls for buttons.  What’s that you say?  We don’t sell red pearls well no you’re right we don't but if you colour them a couple of times with one of our markers letting them dry completely between layers then mist with hairspray to set the colour and there you are pearls in any colour you fancy!

Christmas Tree Card

Morning! So following on from yesterdays post here is one of the cards from the set of Christmas projects.

scentsational season craftylittlemoo.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp images Stampin' Up! © 2012

So a 6x6inch z-fold Crumb Cake card base, which i cut a swing panel in the fold with the labels framelit, i then mounted another matching framelit on top and inked all the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  I then cut a larger mount from the labels framelit collection in Lucky Limeade DSP and adhered it behind so that it is sort of a floating layer.  For the main focal image i stamped and cut out the tree from Scentsational Season stamp set in Lucky Limeade i love that there is a matching framelit set makes things so much quicker and that's just what you need for Christmas cards!  I topped the tree with a star and then mounted it on a strip of DSP from Festival of Prints stack on a embossed Whisper White panel.

Blue Christmas

Morning all, another quick festive card today.  Like me do you have bits left over from other projects that you feel bad about throwing away??  Well i decided to use some of these bits up to make some Christmas cards.  A few weeks ago i cut a load of trees out of white card but i wanted the negative so i had loads of trees left over and i couldn’t bare to throw them away as it seemed such a waste.

 stampin up christmas cards christmas trees blue christmas holiday framelit sweet essentials

So my waste has become a pretty jewelled tree with a teeny baker’s twine bow, mounted on a mat of Island Indigo DSP then a Whisper White mat then a Island Indigo card blank.  I think it looks quite pretty and blue makes a nice change with Christmas cards although mine are usually Crumb Cake with red lol so its nice to do a few different ones!

Tinsel Thursday

I know i know i forgot to post on Festive Friday i am sorry so to make up for it here is Tinsel Thursday!  And all next week i shall be posting festive projects to make up for missing Friday :) how does that sound??

So on with today a nice clean and simple card using the Hostess set ‘Happy You’ which is a cute multi occasion set and i shall be using it a lot over the next few weeks as i prepare stock for a spring fair.

I quite simply stamped the image in Soft Suede Ink then coloured it with my Markers, scored a few lines at the bottom with the Simply Scored for interest added a loop of baker’s twine and a bow then matted and layered it onto Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler, then onto a 10x10cm Crumb Cake Base.  There you go quite nice simple Christmas card so easy that i made 3 in  the space of about 20mins.

Don't forget my Fab offer on top of the Stamping Up! Joining Offer of FREE papers for SIX MONTHS!!!

Lean on me….

Hello reader, this stamp set always makes me think of the song. . . lean on me when you’re not strong.  Well unfortunately we had a reason to send a card to a beloved family member who is going through a really tough time health wise just to let her know that we’re there if she needs us anytime.  I liked the little topper i had made so much that i made a few more and that became the last of my convention swaps.

charliecamp lean on me stampin up

Sorry about the blurry picture the close up is better.  charliecamp lean on me stampin up close upIt is a simple project a midnight muse base with a whisper white layer that i have stamped the little girl image from the Lean on me stamp set {Annual Catalogue} in midnight muse ink on.  I did the shading on the image by using my blender pen to ‘grab’ the ink to drag it out to create the shading.  i then punched the edge with a scallop punch then wrapped and knotted a piece of baker’s twine around it.  I then mounted this topper onto one of the notecards that are in the catalogue but forgot to take a photo before i sent it out! lol

I love this cute little guy from the Scentsational Season Stamp set {Autumn/Winter Catalogue} i am going to be using it lots this year.  charliecamp scentsational season close up stampin upThis is a small tag i made for parcels but it is doubling up as a convention swap this week too.  I took a small square base of crumb cake and mounted on it a very vanilla layer which i had stamped the gingerbread man in soft suede on and the sentiment is from the Polar Party stamp set {Annual Catalogue} which i have stamped in cherry cobbler.  And of course because it has an edge i have sponged around with crumb cake ink for a slightly vintage look.

Festive Friday!

Good morning and welcome to the first Festive Friday post;  today is a very simple layout.  A card that is simple to replicate so brilliant for mass production, which is what you need during the festive season. charlie camp holiday collection framelits festival prints stampin up

Its a crumb cake card blank that i have inked around the edges in the matching ink. I have also used crumb cake for the first layer of the mat with very vanilla on top both cut from the Labels Collection Framelits and the Christmas tree is cut with the Holiday Collection Framelits in the gorgeous Champagne Glimmer paper from the seasonal catalogue.  I love the glimmer paper i want to paper the whole living room in it, Mr.C is not so keen on that idea so i may settle for a small bit around my desk, its a fab glittery effect and it doesn't shed which is a major bonus in my eyes; clean glitter!

The DSP is from the festival of prints paper stack which is perfectly sized for cards or photo mats for scrapbooking, and a cherry cobbler seam binding ribbon to top it off.

Hope you like it

Until next time

WOYWW? September 12th {a change}

Morning All, hope you are all well, this will be a picture heavy post as i have as the title suggests had a bit of a change so the first photo will be my desk last thing at night – nothing will have changed since then as i have only been up a little while! lol And then i will show you my re organisation and the change of look in my craft area for those that wanna stick around :)

DSC02574

So this is what is on my desk at the moment; the start of my convention swaps turned over so as not to spoil the surprise for the recipients, a gift from my friend and upline Bekka, a few new stamps, and a couple of stray hair clips.

SO the last few weeks i have posted pictures of my huge pile of mess; well this week i tidied it all up, and i mean ALL i pulled everything off the shelves and sorted through it all before putting it away i also reclaimed a dresser from the children’s craft stuff to put all mine away out of sight.

So now that it was tidy i was thinking i don’t really like the fabric on my chair and footstool anymore and in our new house we have a different colour scheme so it was time for a change so off i popped to the local had dash and an afternoon and evenings work with the staple gun and hammer later here we are;

This time i went for a nice mocha brown with a silvery tree pattern on which toned in well with our creams and browns in the living room.

Here are the rest of the shots of the chair, footstool {that Mr.C made a while ago} and a new notice board to match.

if you are still with me thank you for looking what do you think of the change?

Until next time

So Long, Fare Well…. {blog hop}

…………………………. auf weidersehen good-bye! You know the song lol i couldn’t resist!
We are coming to the end of the Current Catalogue so that means in order to make room for our new and extended range some items sadly have to leave us; some of these our favourites and will be missed but on the positive side it does mean lots of yummy new stash coming our way next month {eep!!}
A few of us on In Love With Stamping decided to do a blog hop today to showcase our favourite stamps sets that are bidding us farewell this month.  Now if you are new to this a blog hop is where a group of blogs link together in a big circle and we hop from blog to blog ending up where you started again.

So onto the Stamp set that i love; and i do mean love it was a long held joke between a demo friend of mine that she would hear me scream NOOOOOOOO! if it was retired! It was one of the first sets i brought even before i became a demo and i have used it for so many occasions it is perfect for both Men and Women.

Here are some projects i have made using the Trendy Trees set;
DSC02080
Mini Milk carton and gift card
DSC02084

So i will really miss this set i use it such a lot.  If you would like to see what is on the retired list you can find it here;

DSC02509

Morning quick one from me today as have tons to do M went back to school yesterday so know is time to get the house in order.  Me and Mr.C sorted out our out building so that you can walk in there without being attacked by garden furniture!

To the desk……………………..Okay not much has changed since last week except that more Cr*p has joined the pile!! Sunglasses my mum brought back from Spain for me from the looky looky man {he walks along the beach going looky looky so the name stuck!} a pack of new seasonal catties waiting to be sent out.  So my mission today now that M is at school and Mr.C has gone back to work is to tidy and sort my desk so that tomorrow i can craft!! i have sky +’d Downton Abby, Holby City and the soaps and plan to have them on in background now that i have regained control of my tv from the Disney Channel!!

I will try to get round as many desks as possible this week, and if you comment i will at least visit you but please leave your number so i can find you thanks.

Until next time
