Do you like Smoothies?

Good Morning Dear Reader; hope you had a great weekend? I did i managed to walk my girls down to Costa’s for a cheeky babychino on Saturday and then yesterday i crafted all day with my lovely friend and fellow demo Sue.

What i have to share with you today is a simple and FREE solution to a storage problem all us lovers of Framelit dies have…

I don’t know about you but mine constantly pop off the card packet; so when my girls had some smoothies this month i noticed that they come with free magnets so i brought them a pack of ‘proper’ alphabet magnets and swiped all the ones from their smoothies to hold my Framelits.

2013-10-06

I stuck the magnets face down on to some card and popped my framelits on top they hold them in place great for when I'm taking them in and out of their folders.

I hope this helps someone out for a storage idea; there will be a lot of children having their 5 a day topped up with smoothies while this offer is on! :D

Until next time

Telford Projects and Swaps. . . .

Hello Dear Reader; i do hope that you are well on this sunny Sunday? Unfortunately i have been very unwell lately as has my youngest H; which meant that posting on my blog fell to the bottom of my to do list.  In light of the fact that my ill health is likely to last a few weeks i shall be scheduling some posts to share with you what i am working on or what i have been working on but have not shown you yet. I will be posting these on a Sunday for the time being; i hope that you understand.  I just want to say a huge thank you to all that read my blog and comment they mean so much and i really love to hear the feedback on my projects and i hope that you will continue to bear with me through this bumpy patch.

Now in May i went to the Stampin’ Up! Training day in Telford; and of course there was swaps and little gifts that had to be made;

The long thin book mark was my general swap for the day; then there is my name tag; the candle that i made for Sue {I've already shown you} the card was for my project for the Team Shoebox Swap; and the gift box had some lovely little toiletries in for my travelling companions Sue and my Upline Bekka.

All were made using the Summer Silhouettes stamp set and the colour combination is Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Pool Party and Midnight Muse.

Lion gift box

Morning Dear Reader; hope that you are well and that it is also sunny where you are? Today i have a project to share with you that would be perfect for holding a small gift for a little one.  It is inspired by a picture i saw on pinterest but i can’t find it now because sensibly i didn’t pin it! so if it is your creation then please let me know so that i can credit you.

This cute chap is made using the floral frames framelit dies and the feet are made using the ovals framelits and the rest of him is made using a variety of circle punches.  The box behind his head was made on my score board and he also has a lion bottom for his back which is my girls favourite bit!  He takes a while to make aprox half an hour once you have everything punched and cut but the inking is very therapeutic so very enjoyable.

Happiest Birthday

Good morning, we are forecast bad weather today so after dropping M at school i plan on hunkering down and stamping – any excuse eh? lol

Today’s project is a birthday card made for my husbands Nan;

apothecary arts labels framelits card craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2012 09-06-2012 21-31-27

It looks really involved but was actually very quick, thanks to the Labels Framelit dies, i really love how So Saffron and Crumb Cake work so well together.  The stamp set is Apothecary Art which co-ordinates with the framelits perfectly the flower wreath was coloured with the markers finished off with a So Saffron bow.

**Remember between January 22nd and March 22nd 2013 Stampin’ Up! are giving away FREE products for all orders over £45!!  Call me now to place your order!!**

Book Christmas Tree

Morning; hope all is well with you.  So the tree from a book is finished!  Now this isn't my idea i have no idea where the original idea came from but i found my inspiration on my friend Emily’s blog.

paperback book tree christmas craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-louise Camp 2012 22-11-2012 00-09-34

So this was a copy of Mansfield Park and took me about an hour and a half to fold the 300+ pages whilst chatting to friends at craft group the other night.  I then sponged with different inks and champagne shimmer paint so it has a gorgeous shimmer.  Once happy with the colour i decorated with some linen thread vintage brads and little off cuts of crumb cake seam binding, and early espresso tulle.  The base pot was made using a little pot that had a previously housed the most gorgeous chocolate mouse.

I am now scouring the local charity shops for paperbacks as i want to make more!

A tag for your presents

Morning, i don’t know about you but i love to wrap Christmas presents i even wrap family members presents in exchange for pizza ;) i love it that much.  I’m very much a wrap in brown paper then jazz up with pretties it means i always have paper no matter what the occasion.
christmas tag scentsational season festival of prints craftylittlemoo.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp images Stampin' Up! 2012
This tag was made with scraps from the card i posted on Tuesday so these will be going to the same person.  Its a crumb cake label with a scrappy strip of lucky limeade DSP and festival of prints DSP with a gingerbread man on top, then poked a hole and added a loop of bakers twine -  simple.  It only took me a few minutes, used up a few scraps on my desk and will look fab on a parcel especially when the recipient opens the card and sees that they’re matched. I will probably wrap the present with some of the new sweater trim cord before tying the tag on.

Merry Bunting

Hello good morning, last night we had a meeting of the Saffron Walden Craft Group, we had ‘such fun!’ it’s great to be able to craft in company – not that i got that much done i was too busy chatting! lol If you are local email me about coming to the next one you’d be more than welcome.

Today’s project is the bunting from my festive makes; made with the perfect pennants die and the scentsational season stamps and matching framelits.

I love bunting, this one is currently hung in my craft space but i do plan {at some point!} to make a Christmas one to finish the set i am thinking how fab it would look over my hall mirror.  Now i did cut all the bits and thought there was something not quite about it so i embossed the green layer with the square lattice folder just that simple step made all the difference.

A quick reminder that there is only 8 days to take advantage of the fantastic joining offers for November so if you have ever thought about it why not contact me now and we can get you started.

Christmas Tree Card

Morning! So following on from yesterdays post here is one of the cards from the set of Christmas projects.

scentsational season craftylittlemoo.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp images Stampin' Up! © 2012

So a 6x6inch z-fold Crumb Cake card base, which i cut a swing panel in the fold with the labels framelit, i then mounted another matching framelit on top and inked all the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  I then cut a larger mount from the labels framelit collection in Lucky Limeade DSP and adhered it behind so that it is sort of a floating layer.  For the main focal image i stamped and cut out the tree from Scentsational Season stamp set in Lucky Limeade i love that there is a matching framelit set makes things so much quicker and that's just what you need for Christmas cards!  I topped the tree with a star and then mounted it on a strip of DSP from Festival of Prints stack on a embossed Whisper White panel.

Festive Friday!

Good morning and welcome to the first Festive Friday post;  today is a very simple layout.  A card that is simple to replicate so brilliant for mass production, which is what you need during the festive season. charlie camp holiday collection framelits festival prints stampin up

Its a crumb cake card blank that i have inked around the edges in the matching ink. I have also used crumb cake for the first layer of the mat with very vanilla on top both cut from the Labels Collection Framelits and the Christmas tree is cut with the Holiday Collection Framelits in the gorgeous Champagne Glimmer paper from the seasonal catalogue.  I love the glimmer paper i want to paper the whole living room in it, Mr.C is not so keen on that idea so i may settle for a small bit around my desk, its a fab glittery effect and it doesn't shed which is a major bonus in my eyes; clean glitter!

The DSP is from the festival of prints paper stack which is perfectly sized for cards or photo mats for scrapbooking, and a cherry cobbler seam binding ribbon to top it off.

Hope you like it

Until next time
