Here is today’s card;

I used the star from the scentsational season stamp set i stamped over a spritzed background in lucky limeade, cherry cobbler and crumb cake ink. Topped of with a sentiment from the teeny tiny wishes set and then mounted on a 3x3inch lucky limeade card blank.

Christmas Tree Card

Morning! So following on from yesterdays post here is one of the cards from the set of Christmas projects.

So a 6x6inch z-fold Crumb Cake card base, which i cut a swing panel in the fold with the labels framelit, i then mounted another matching framelit on top and inked all the edges with Crumb Cake ink.  I then cut a larger mount from the labels framelit collection in Lucky Limeade DSP and adhered it behind so that it is sort of a floating layer.  For the main focal image i stamped and cut out the tree from Scentsational Season stamp set in Lucky Limeade i love that there is a matching framelit set makes things so much quicker and that's just what you need for Christmas cards!  I topped the tree with a star and then mounted it on a strip of DSP from Festival of Prints stack on a embossed Whisper White panel.

Blue Christmas

Morning all, another quick festive card today.  Like me do you have bits left over from other projects that you feel bad about throwing away??  Well i decided to use some of these bits up to make some Christmas cards.  A few weeks ago i cut a load of trees out of white card but i wanted the negative so i had loads of trees left over and i couldn’t bare to throw them away as it seemed such a waste.

So my waste has become a pretty jewelled tree with a teeny baker’s twine bow, mounted on a mat of Island Indigo DSP then a Whisper White mat then a Island Indigo card blank.  I think it looks quite pretty and blue makes a nice change with Christmas cards although mine are usually Crumb Cake with red lol so its nice to do a few different ones!
