Thank you……

Hello!  How are you all today?  Good i hope?

Last week we was invited to dinner at Mr.C’s Nan’s house well we couldn’t go round empty handed so i rustled up a quick card;

I used my new Scallop Circle die for the Big Shot, and Springtime Vintage DSP with Rose Red Seam Binding and Button.  The base card was made of Crumb Cake card stock and i smudged ink all round the edges of the scallops with Crumb Cake ink and a Sponge Dauber.  To finish i added a buckle from the hodgepodge Hardware set and three tiny rhinestones (can you tell what’s been left out on my desk this week?! lol)

I think when i make a Scallop Circle easel card again i will put the button further back to hold the card front more upright.  Of course now the bottle we was taking with us looked rather bare so i prettied that up too!

i didn’t even measure and cut these bits it was all made of scraps on my desk i just sort of threw them together!  The scallop circle is out of my daughters stash of punches as i don’t have a scallop circle punch yet (its on my list) and the sentiment is from the Wedding Sweet stamp set.  I love this stamp set, i used it for my wedding invitations but i have also used it for so much more as it is so versatile.

However when i got to Mr.C’s Nan’s House i realised i had used the same DSP as the card i had made her earlier in the week!! But at least she didn’t mind she loves to receive cards, which is one of the reasons i love card making.  Something so simple can really brighten up someone's day.

Until next time

The Springtime Trio…

Before i succumbed to this awful infection i had spent a little time getting inky at my craft table while Mr.C watched something ‘’interesting’’ on the History Channel.  I came up with a Trio of little 4’’x4’’ square cards made using pieces of two of the blue toned sheets of DSP from the Springtime Vintage Stack.

I shall share them all with you and here is the first;

I cut the card myself from Baja Breeze card stock, and simply mounted a square layer of DSP (with Tombow), i stamped a thank you sentiment from the Wedding Sweet stamp set onto a scrap of Baja Breeze card stock and framed it with an oval frame from the Hodgepodge Hardware set. This was then mounted on dimensionals, and i added a little knot of Baja Seam Binding, and then a Rhinestone in each corner.

I’ll be back tomorrow with the next one.

Until next time

A Refresh.....

Hello, all hope you are well? I am currently typing this while wiggling my feet in my very lush wedding shoes, which i will post a pic of after the wedding as they are very out there and i want them to be a surprise!  Yes, the wedding is only TWO days away now and i shall be very busy so probably not blogging much or even getting near to the laptop.  Tomorrow is full of hair appointments and manicures and a massage, (ain't life hard eh?) and then Tuesday i shall be baking and icing 100 cupcakes!  Good job my gorgeous best friends are coming to help me!

Any who I've had a refresh on here after much swearing at the laptop i have managed to change the look of my blog, now it just had to be the bunting background as anyone who knows me, knows that i love an excuse to make bunting (even before it was so 'now') so i thought that it was very 'me'.

Talking of making bunting, i made some the other Sunday night while Mr.C watched Britain Exploits the Mentally Challenged, to welcome members on arrival at the craft group i organise.  Here are some pictures;

All supplies are Stampin' Up!, i was using up the left overs from my wedding stationary which was also made with Stampin' Up! products and this is how i met my now lovely friend Caroline Skinner.
The colourways used are Certainly Celery, and Pretty in Pink, and the paper daises where stamped with the flourish stamp from the Wedding Sweet stamp set.  All buttons and ribbons etc are also from Stampin' Up!
This Welcome Bunting is going to have a permanent place over my desk when it is built because i love it that much!  I even made some little files in the off cuts which i will post as soon as i have 5mins to take the pictures!
Until next time
