Happy Day…..

Afternoon Dear Reader; lovely sunny but crisp day today and this morning i even managed to get some stamping done this morning before the school run.

Today i would like to share with you a scrapbook layout from my recent scrapbooking class that i case’d from Lyssa i really liked her layout so adapted it to the papers that i was going to be using.

craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com <br />Created by Charlie-Louise Camp<br />Images Stampin' Up! © 2013

It is no secret that i love the Soho Subway DSP i have used A LOT of packs since the annual catalogue launched; it is such a versatile set as it can be used for masculine projects as well as ‘pretty’ up for the more feminine projects.  The layout was mostly made of scraps left from other projects.  The layout also used gorgeous grunge and happy day stamp sets.

I hope that you liked today’s project; If you would like any purchase the products used to produce this project then please pop along to my online store {button in side bar} or contact me at craftylittlemoo@hotmail.co.uk

Play time….

Hello Dear Reader i do hope that you are well? I have been taking full advantage of the cold wet days here and getting lots of crafting done so i have lots to show you in the upcoming posts as well as some to be photographed.

So today i am showing you some play-time i had the other evening with a pack of wet wipes a a few re-inker bottles.

It’s called the ‘wet wipe technique’ as i great if you would like a random multicoloured image, as the wet wipe becomes your ink pad.  I used lovely frosty blues and purples for mine as i wanted to make lovely snowflakes and these pages are now sitting in my ‘to be made up’ box hopefully they will make it on to a card front in time for this Christmas! lol

Right must dash school run to do

Take Note. . . . . .

Morning Dear Reader; i do hope that you are well and that yesterday’s bad weather hasn’t affected you too badly?  It looks like we have slipped a couple of roof tiles but as we are surrounded by humongous trees i think we got off quite lightly!

Today i am going to share with you the present that was in the packaging of the previous post.  These notebooks where made by my own hand from scratch for my dear friends birthday.

Sues birthday notebooks handmade notebook simply sketched Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 21-08-2013 10-08-37

The pages where stitched together by hand from water colour paper, then i made a cover using the co-ordinations card stock which i then stamped and clear embossed with the simply sketched hostess set and the book were held closed with a loop of the ruffle stretch trim in the new in colours.  All ready for my friends to do lists and brilliant ideas.

A Birthday Gift……..

Good Morning Dear Reader; hope that this finds you well? Today i am having my chimney swept so that we are ready for when the now inevitable awful winter weather arrives.  We are very lucky that Mr.C has access to a large pile of season free wood each year so we can cut our fuel bills by using our fire.  Plus who doesn’t love a roaring fire crackling merrily away in the grate?

Today i am going to share with you the packaging that i made for a friend’s birthday present;

Cute packaging for a birthday gift Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 21-08-2013 09-59-10

I really love the sand-able Co’ Ordinations range of cardstock that we stock and even more so now that it is available in ALL our colours! On this project i have used a band of Pistachio Pudding Co’ Ordinations  cardstock which i lightly sanded on the edges and topped with a crumpled band of Baked brown sugar DSP from the amazing value in colour paper stack; you get 40 sheets for £19.50 that is 4 sheets of doubled sided DSP in 5 colours! Brilliant value!

I sponged and popped a folded doily under the band and then topped it off with a flower in Crisp Cantaloupe Co’ Ord’s which i punched with the Blossom punch sanded quickly and topped off with a vintage button and a pearl. A quick project that really takes a gift from lovely to special.

You can see a sneak peak of the gift through the clear box that i wrapped it in i will share that with you in a later post.

If you would like to make any of these projects then head over to my shop where you can purchase everything that you need.

Until Next time

Sunday Scrapbooking.. Hello There

Good Morning Dear Reader; how are you today? Its very wet and gloomy today and our front path has flooded so i hope the rain stops soon or i shall be swimming to the car when i go out later today ;)

Today i have some layouts to share with you using the gorgeous Soho Subway papers from the Main Catalogue; I think these are my current favourite papers i love that you can use them for so many occasions and they are perfect for masculine themes as well as more feminine ones.

soho subway gorgeous grunge scrapbooking Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 04-10-2013 14-04-12

This page was made by using 3inch squares of the different DSP’s and then laying them out tile style with white mounts for the photos.  You can see that i have also used a piece of Co ’ordinations cardstock which i embossed and then sanded to show the white core.  On the pink floral tile i searched the remaining DSP for the pattern repeat so that i could line it up with the mixed bunch punch and then popped the punched section exactly above the original to give a simple but effective embellishment.

Must dash now as i am out this afternoon with some fellow demonstrators crafting this gloomy afternoon away; which is for me one of the best parts of being a demo is the network of fellow paper enthusiasts that i now know and count among my very dear friends.

Until next time

Do you like Smoothies?

Good Morning Dear Reader; hope you had a great weekend? I did i managed to walk my girls down to Costa’s for a cheeky babychino on Saturday and then yesterday i crafted all day with my lovely friend and fellow demo Sue.

What i have to share with you today is a simple and FREE solution to a storage problem all us lovers of Framelit dies have…

I don’t know about you but mine constantly pop off the card packet; so when my girls had some smoothies this month i noticed that they come with free magnets so i brought them a pack of ‘proper’ alphabet magnets and swiped all the ones from their smoothies to hold my Framelits.

2013-10-06

I stuck the magnets face down on to some card and popped my framelits on top they hold them in place great for when I'm taking them in and out of their folders.

I hope this helps someone out for a storage idea; there will be a lot of children having their 5 a day topped up with smoothies while this offer is on! :D

Until next time

A quick one…

Hello Dear Reader; long time no chat i do hope that this finds you well on what is a very gloomy day here.  My readers are some of the nicest and kindest people out there, i have had some lovely emails asking where i am, if i am well and had i dropped of the face of the earth, one email even asked if i had one the lottery and run off to some where hot!  If only…..lol!

As most my readers know i have suffered for a long time with recurrent tonsillitis and as such had to part company with my tonsils last month, unfortunately i developed post op infections which caused other complications leading to a second op and a lot of blood loss.  So as a result i have been out of action nearly a month and my computer which i blog at hasn’t been switched on in all that time so once my scheduled posts ran out that was it I'm afraid.  But i am getting back on my feet now and starting to feel much more ‘normal’ what ever that is! lol So expect a deluge of posts from me as i update you with all the offers from Stampin’ Up! and my posts that have been patiently waiting for me.

I have lots of new projects planned so will be sharing them with you once i make them; as i had plenty of time sat on the sofa with pinterest over the last few weeks.

So thank you for your concern, i love this virtual community that we are all part of i think our lives are richer for it.  I am back now and normal service should resume soon hopefully with no more tonsillitis to knock me out for weeks at a time.

Until Later

Festive Fridays. . . Christmas Tree Frame

Hello Dear Reader how are you?  I thought that as we enter September there was no better time to start with the preparations for the festive season; so that will be our theme on a Friday. . . a Festive Friday as it were :)
This week is a decor piece that i plan to hang on our living room door;
VINTAGE CHRISTMAS FRAME
Would you believe that this frame started life as a cheapy pound store frame that was a very light wood? I gave the wood a light sand and inked it up with various shades of brown from SU.  I then covered it in clear embossing powder to give it a lovely shine.  The background is a gorgeous background stamp called En Français Stamped in Sahara Sands; I also used the lovely new Christmas Tree from the stamp set Special Season in the new Holiday Catalogue.  I love the vintagey Victorian Christmas feel of the frame.  I hope that you like it and helps to get you in the festive groove.

Swallowtail pudding. . .

Morning Dear Reader; Just a quick post to share a scrapbook layout i did in the gorgeous new in colour Pistachio Pudding.

2013-06-27

The gorgeous big butterfly is the Swallowtail stamp, this is a HUGE stamp and i have to admit one of my favourites; as is the set i have used for the page title it comes from the set Happy Day which i find has perfect sentiments for scrapbookers.  I have also used the smaller butterflies from Papillion Potpourri i love the simplicity of the one colour on the white it will let the photo really do the talking i will have the photo printed in black and white to go on the layout.

A Tattered Butterfly . . . . .

Hello Dear Reader; hope that you are well?  It has been fairly sunny here the last few days although i spent all of today working on a festive project that i will share with you soon.  Today i want to share with you one of the projects that i have made for a display for the Sincerely Yours Papercraft show that is happening this Sunday in Biggin Hill.  My dear friend Sue has a Stand of all things Stampin’ Up! and i have been helping with the display pieces for the event.

Now this may make some of a nervous disposition baulk but here goes. . .

swallowtail altered book Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 05-08-2013 20-22-06

Now i don’t normally mistreat books in such a way and classics at that! but i have read both these on numerous occasions and we do have at least 3 copies of each book in our house as well as on my kindle …….. yes yes i am justifying myself! lol  These books have been glued open sanded inked and screwed up to within an inch of their lives and i also kept a few of the loose pages to stamp my butterflies onto so that they looked like they were flying off the page.  I am not sure if the photo does this justice as the butterflies are suspended above the book on acetate.  I really enjoyed getting to grips with this project it started with a tiny gem of a thought late one night while reading that just seemed to grow and grow until the next day when i got up and started combing the house for suitable books to alter i then spent the evening gluing all the pages.  I went through 3 bottles of tombow glue, 7 red sticky strip rolls and 2 glue sticks as it takes a LOT of glue to get it to stay open!  I hope you like it an don’t condemn me to the naughty step for literature abuse!

All the supplies used, apart from the books are Stampin’ Up! the beautiful big butterfly is the Swallowtail Stamp and i use this stamp such a lot its so detailed and a delight to colour.

Life after the Party. . . . .

Hello Dear Reader; sorry about my tardy return Blogger decided that it didn’t want to post my scheduled posts and when i realised it wouldn’t let me in to sort it out!  Hopefully it will be business as usual from now on.

Now i have done loads of crafting over the last few weeks; so you may get a few extra posts than the Sunday posts so that i can share all my projects with you.  I have been helping my friend Sue prepare her samples for her stand at the Sincerely Yours Papercraft Show at Biggin Hill which is on September 1st so there are some bits i can’t share just yet but if you want to see them in the flesh get yourselves to her Stampin’ Up! stand :)

So in my last post i said that i have re-used the party decorations from H’s birthday party to give them another life. . . .

craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com <br />Created by Charlie-Louise Camp<br />Images Stampin' Up! © 2013

Well i deconstructed them from their sticks and blue tack-ed them to the wall in a nice arrangement near my desk to pretty up a plain wall.  It took minutes but i think it looks nice and it meant i didn’t have to chuck them or find a place to store them and this way i still get to look at them.

Its Party Time. . . .

Hello Dear Reader; i hope that you are well?  Its a bit gloomy today so any excuse for a Pj’s and craft day in our house!  Yesterday i attended the lovely Cambridge Crop in Abingdon; i love this group of ladies all so welcoming and its a very relaxed friendly group, if you are in the area why not come join us?  I managed to get a few ‘grungy but pretty’ layouts done which i will share with you soon.  Today i am going to share with you the table decorations i made for little H’s birthday party last month; it was a family party and had no major theme so i just picked a happy colour scheme and went with it we had paper chains and flags and even the balloons matched!

2013-07-20

These are rosettes made on the simply scored score board in Dsp and then popped on a kebab skewer i made them in various sizes and then poked them in to a jam jar filled with gravel {from the garden ;) }  the little bit of glitz cam from butterflies punched in glimmer paper, i love this paper i can  glitter without the mess as it doesn’t shed everywhere.

These Decorations have now another life which i will share with you in my next post.

Telford Projects and Swaps. . . .

Hello Dear Reader; i do hope that you are well on this sunny Sunday? Unfortunately i have been very unwell lately as has my youngest H; which meant that posting on my blog fell to the bottom of my to do list.  In light of the fact that my ill health is likely to last a few weeks i shall be scheduling some posts to share with you what i am working on or what i have been working on but have not shown you yet. I will be posting these on a Sunday for the time being; i hope that you understand.  I just want to say a huge thank you to all that read my blog and comment they mean so much and i really love to hear the feedback on my projects and i hope that you will continue to bear with me through this bumpy patch.

Now in May i went to the Stampin’ Up! Training day in Telford; and of course there was swaps and little gifts that had to be made;

The long thin book mark was my general swap for the day; then there is my name tag; the candle that i made for Sue {I've already shown you} the card was for my project for the Team Shoebox Swap; and the gift box had some lovely little toiletries in for my travelling companions Sue and my Upline Bekka.

All were made using the Summer Silhouettes stamp set and the colour combination is Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Pool Party and Midnight Muse.

A few more Scrapbook layouts . . .

Hello Dear Reader; another grey day another scrapbook post from me :)

   fan fair scrapbook papers loads of cycles Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 22-06-2013 14-33-21

This one is fairly simple a nice large photo mat on a bit of inked DSP with a rolled edge, and the bit that i trimmed off from the Dsp i turned over crumpled and inked for a pop of colour across the page.  This is why i love double sided DSP as you can turn your scraps into focal points.

fan fair scrapbooking pages bicycle Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 22-06-2013 14-35-40

Talking of using up scraps this uses the bit of DSP that i had ‘gutted’ from behind the layout above photo matt.  Basically if something is to be covered up you can cut out the DSP with a scalpel or trimmer and then use it elsewhere because who will know its not behind the mat?  And then you have another bit of DSP for another layout :)

fan fair scrapbook pages vintage keys Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 22-06-2013 14-34-59

This is the last layout i made using these papers Fan Fair this layout uses elements that were part of a sheet of the DSP such a quick way to make up a page.  This page also has a sneak peak on it from the new Annual Catalogue that is coming next week {!} can you guess what it is??

A postcard from . . . . .

Morning; Dear Reader; another dark and wet one here for the start of Wimbledon its quite chilly i was even tempted to light the fire!  Today i plan to do a bit more crafting and possibly settle down with a good book.  First i am going to share another layout from my Saturday crafting. . .

fan fair scrapbook pages old world map travel Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 22-06-2013 14-34-12

This is from the same papers as yesterday Fan Fair even the embellishments were cut from a piece of the DSP, i plan to pop a photo of the Rhine River that i took whilst in Mainz last year for the Stampin’ Up! European Convention and title the page ‘A Postcard from Mainz’ once i have got round to printing off my photos!  Digital is all well and good but i always seem to take ages to get them printed off now!

A Little Distressing…..

Hello there Dear Reader; hope that your Sunday is going well?  We have awful weather here today for June it is rather windy and grey out so perfect time for curling up in the Pj’s and crafting {i know any excuse!} my two favourite things.

Yesterday i spent the day with my very dear friend Sue in the morning i attended her techniques class and in the afternoon we sat and played, for me that meant scrapbooking.  I used some of the retiring papers Fan Fair that will be leaving us at the end of the month.  They are a great set for travels and a bit vintage, and on that note i knew exactly what i needed to do to this particular page;

fan fair scrapbook pages really distressed page Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 22-06-2013 14-32-34

As you can see i have distressed it a little!  I did pre warn Sue that i was about to screw up the piece of paper that she had just given me but gave no warning to the other ladies, some of whom thought I'd gone completely potty!  I screwed and smoothed this piece of paper many times before adding liberal amounts of ink to pick up the folds and creases I'd made i then went on to do the same to the banners behind my photo mat. I really enjoyed making this page and would recommend a bit of scrunching and screwing to anyone it makes a great talking point! ;)

Happy Birthday to Me!!

Hello Dear Reader; just a quick post from me today as i have shopped and am now ready to drop as today is my birthday so Mr.C took me into Cambridge so that i could enjoy larger shops and fill my wardrobe a little.

DSC00670

This is a little cupcake decorating kit with sprinkles and cupcake cases from Waitrose, and then some cute decoration picks made using the 'create a cupcake stamp set and matching punch.  I thought this would be a cute small gift for the baker in your life.

Lion gift box

Morning Dear Reader; hope that you are well and that it is also sunny where you are? Today i have a project to share with you that would be perfect for holding a small gift for a little one.  It is inspired by a picture i saw on pinterest but i can’t find it now because sensibly i didn’t pin it! so if it is your creation then please let me know so that i can credit you.

gift box punch art lion floral frames framelits Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 08-05-2013 16-13-08

This cute chap is made using the floral frames framelit dies and the feet are made using the ovals framelits and the rest of him is made using a variety of circle punches.  The box behind his head was made on my score board and he also has a lion bottom for his back which is my girls favourite bit!  He takes a while to make aprox half an hour once you have everything punched and cut but the inking is very therapeutic so very enjoyable.

Best of . . Flowers

As part of Stampin’ Up!’s 25-year anniversary celebration, they’re bringing back some of their favourite stamp images from the last quarter century and combining them into five sets, which will release-one set per month- until October 2013. Even better, along with some great classic images, each "Best of" set will also include a never-before-seen image! {and most will be new to the UK full stop as the American catalogue is much older than ours :) }

New Single Stamps!!

A few months ago Stampin’ Up! asked our North American Facebook friends what they thought of the idea of being able to buy single stamps instead of a whole set. The response was so positive that they started experimenting with it in the North American Market. The experiment has been successful—so successful that they have decided to try it out in Europe too!

From now until 31 August 2013 (or while supplies last) we're excited to offer you and your customers five single-image stamps for you to choose from!

  • The stamps won't come with a Clear-Mount Block, and you'll need to purchase a block separately if you don't already have one. The recommended block sizes can be found on the flyer.

Hello! {again!}

Hello Dear Reader; sorry again for the break in service we had some challenging times health wise as a family with my youngest being very ill and me still getting over my illness, we now think we have met nearly the whole of the local paramedic crew!! And although they are all lovely i hope that we don’t need to see them again any time soon!! But on wards and upwards; i have lots of projects to share with you that have been patiently waiting in the ‘to be blogged’ folder on the computer and TONS of news from Stampin’ Up! so you may get a few posts from me at once in order to catch up!

So a few weeks ago now i went to a Stampin’ Up! training day with many of my fellow UK demos and my lovely friend and fellow demo Sue, unfortunately Sue was very poorly and spent the whole event in bed in our hotel room :(

Now as Sue had offered to drive and had organised booking all the room etc i wanted to make her a little pressie and knowing that she likes a scented candle i got her a Yankee Candle and prettied it up SU-style.

yankee candle gift stampin' up! style Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 08-05-2013 16-12-08

This was very simple to do i wrapped some Pool Party Dsp around the candles wrapper with snail so that it could easily be taken off; then added a monogram stamped with the Notable alphabet stamp set and decorated with the Summer Silhouettes stamp set.  I’m happy to say that Sue really liked it;' which for me is half the fun of creating with a specific person in mind.

Hello!

Hello Dear Reader; so sorry for the long break in service, unfortunately i became very ill last month and a particularly nasty bout of Tonsillitis landed me in A&E and spending a night in Hospital on a ward with some ‘interesting’ characters to say the least! To the amusement of Mr.C the being so ill and in hospital wasn’t the problem for me, even as they were hoFriendly Phrases card by Sue McDonald Independant Stampin' Up! Demontror for more creation please view blog,oking me up to the IV i was moaning that i was missing out on a play-date with my lovely friend Sue and some of our other SU team mates!  I would like to have a few mins to gush about how wonderful my lovely friend Sue is as despite being at training all day she came and visited me in hospital even though she still had the long drive home; bringing with her a card from my team :) Here’s a picture i pinched from Sue’s blog of the card because the actual card is upstairs in my special things box.

I had been due to supply one of the demo inspiration tables and had been working flat out for it, all of which was left half done on the dining table and there it stayed for two weeks until Mr.C scooped it in to a box so that it was slightly tidier in the living room.  Unfortunately i have no mojo at the moment, but it best return this weekend as i have another play-date booked next week and its a whole weekend :D I am so excited Me and Sue and my Upline Bekka are off to the Stampin’ Up! UK training event taking place in Telford on the Saturday and as it is quite a drive we decided to make a weekend of it.  But that means i have swaps, shoebox projects, a name badge so hopefully i shall feel in the mood this weekend.

So in all that the Blog slid a little bit, as i am sure you understand.  Although i was only in Hospital overnight {thankfully} it has taken me a very long time to feel even close to normal as other underlying conditions took complete advantage of me being laid up to take their turn.  I am still not driving but can just about manage a walk to the shop and back as long as i lay down afterwards!  I shall be back very soon to update you with all the latest news from Stampin’ Up! and some projects that i had made for the inspiration table.

Until then

This image is from the every bunny stamp set which i coloured with watercolour wonder crayons and a blender pen to give him a vintage faded look.  I then mounted him up with various dies and punches and finished it off with a length of so saffron ribbon; and of course i added an itty bitty flower.

woyww? March 26th 2013

Good morning Dear Reader and all woyww’ers; do you still have snow?! Some one needs to remind Mother Nature that we would like some Spring please!!  The snow is finally starting to melt here but apparently we have more to come at the end of the week…….Joy!  O well i can’t control the weather but i can craft and i plan to make my own version of spring this week by making lots of springy {is that a word?!} projects.

But for now here is my desk as it ends Tuesday; it will see no action apart from a tidy up as we have family over today.

woyww workspace craft area Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 24-03-2013 09-03-45

Practically the same as it was last week but with a load of Stampin’ Up! party invites and what not's dumped on top as i decided to spring clean all weekend starting with our bedroom where i found i had loads of craft bits that had somehow got up there so they needed to come back down to the craft area.  I drove Mr.C potty as always when i get bit by the tidy bug as i am normally the poster girl for organised chaos, but when get the urge to purge the clutter i go all out but i also have a habit of not finishing each room before starting another! lol so once he had pulled me up on that and we’d finished the upstairs before starting on my craft area i managed to set myself up a cutting and big-shotting or should that be shooting(?) area.  The new computer desk means that the girls craft stuff has vacated my sideboard so i have organised it much better.

big shot storage cutting area craft space woyww Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 24-03-2013 09-02-53

So i now have my big shot all ready to go with my punches next to it, i have my trimmer, guillotine, and scoreboard in one drawer and all my dies and embossing folders in the other, its the perfect height for cutting and die cutting and if i lift my big shot away the lamp makes for a perfect place for taking my blog photos.

photo taking area craft space Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 24-03-2013 09-02-03

Well that's my workspace for this week i shall go and tidy my main desk area before the school run so that i am free to hop round blogs until my grandparents arrive for lunch; i hope to get round as many as possible but at the very least to every one who visits me.

Until Next time

Easter Milk Cartons

Morning Dear Reader; i thought i would add in a few bonus posts as due to my computer troubles of the last few weeks i have quite a few Easter projects to share with you before the weekend.

So here’s today’s project;

I have shown you these earlier before they were finished but i thought that i would show you them up-close.

mini milk carton small easter gift birds of a feather Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 24-03-2013 08-58-57

These where cut from the subtles colour family using the mini milk carton big shot die, the DSP is the birds of a feather stack which i have said before i am totally in love with so expect to see more of it! :) The sentiment is from the every bunny stamp set which i punched with the oval punch and back with a scallop oval an flower punched using the itty bitty punch set that is 3 little punches perfect for little accents.  These were filled with 3 Galaxy Caramel mini eggs but they can fit a variety of chocolate treats in them.

Stippled Blossoms

Afternoon Dear Reader; how's the weather where you are?  We have a reasonable amount of snow at the moment i really wish would go as i am really over winter i am bored of wearing tons of layers and i want to get my washing out on the line and smelling of fresh air rather than tumble dryer sheets!! I know easily pleased eh? lol But the cold weather does have advantages …. time to craft! As if we need an excuse!! lol

So on to today’s project;

stippled blossoms flowers card easter simple Check it out at craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 24-03-2013 09-00-35

It is an Easter card using the lovely Stippled Blossoms stamp set which is just the most beautiful flower.  Its a 2-step stamp set meaning that there is a stamp for the main block of the back ground, which is best stamped in a lighter colour and then another stamp to add the detail in in a darker colour.  I hand cut the flowers and leaves once i had stamped them before arranging on a whisper white panel that was then mounted on a Lucky Limeade card blank.  I think that this could easily be adapted for any occasion just by changing the sentiment.

I shall be back soon with more Easter Projects

Happy Birthday and Thank You

Well Hello Dear Reader, today is my blogs 2nd Birthday i can’t believe i have been blogging for 2 whole years this also means that my love affair with Stampin’ Up! started 2 years ago now as well!  In that time it has many designs as i have tried to find one that i truly love, i think I'm there now as the new header shows most of the crafts i love including lace, paper craft and sewing.

download

I would like to say thank you to all that read my blog and comment i love when you comment it feels like I'm not just talking to myself.  And thank you also to all that follow me it means so much that you like what i create and share with you.

In the last two years my life has changed so much and a lot of that is due to stamping, by joining Stampin’ Up! i have met lots of lovely people some of whom are now some of my dearest friends and who i could not imagine life with out now.  But i have also met people within the community that i live who i would not have met otherwise; i knew absolutely no one when i moved to Saffron Walden apart from Mr.C’s family and by introducing people to what i do and what i can offer them i have met lots of new people and increased my social life ten-fold!  If it had not been for the fact that i was on the Stampin’ Up Demo finder; i would never have known about the great crop i now attend a few villages away i am so grateful for that as it is a fab place to go and craft and the people are so lovely and welcoming.

So in short its been fab I've loved it thanks for reading and here’s to another year :)

I shall be back tomorrow with a new project for you.

Until then

woyww? March 19th 2013

Hello Dear Reader; today is Wednesday {well 5pm Tuesday night but my desk won’t change between now and then :) } so that is when crafters from across the globe bare all and show their desks in varying degrees of the creative process.  If you would like to know more hop along to the queen of this massive blog hop Julia at the Stamping Ground, but do join if you can its is great fun and highly addictive.

woyww march 20th craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 18-03-2013 18-58-04

So here is my now two desks as due to the computer issue we have had to have a desktop and so that meant a new desk so in this picture you can see both.  I am currently sitting typing at the computer under the stairs which is actually a desk from my old room at my grandparents house and do you know that now that the computer is in another room i am actually getting more work done as i don't keep getting distracted by pinterest!!
Not a lot on my desk at the moment a  few stamp sets as Mr.C had me stamp a wooden box for him to keep all his seeds in that also looked nice on the shelf as the shed would be too cold and damp a place for the seeds (?! so he says i don’t know!) i plan to have a big tidy up as i did a craft fair at the weekend and the boxes are not unpacked yet and then i can get on with preparing for my next events.  Also its craft night at mine again today so i shall have to be tidy so that we can all have somewhere to sit down! :D  If you would like to see the results of my suitcase boot fair find you can find it on yesterdays post.

I am planning to hop around to as many desks as i can today.

Until next time

Up-cycled Vintage Suitcase

Hello Dear Reader, i am finally back with you a day later than i had planned i am sorry but you have no idea how much you have on your computer that you just cant function without until you have reloaded it all back on!  But it is done now and i am back with you my postings after today will continue as normal on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and maybe with a few bonus ones if you’re lucky :)
So my project to share with you is the vintage suitcase that i had told you about a few weeks ago that i had found at a boot sale that Mr.C had not wanted me to buy…. Well i did and i got to work with my staple gun and here it is as a display stand for a craft fair that i attended on Sunday in Chelmsford.
upcycled renovated vinatge suitcase check out craftylittlemoos.blogspot.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013 19-03-2013 11-32-18.com Created by Charlie-Louise Camp Images Stampin' Up! © 2013
Here you can see it is all full with some of my wares for the day and i have just noticed that one of the cards had fallen down but this is the only photo i had taken as i had forgotten my camera so you will have to forgive me the poor photo.
As you can see i have completely upholstered the inside with fabric as it had a wooden frame that i could staple into.  Then i raised the height of the bottom layer with a trusty cardboard box cut and shaped to fit the base.  I then covered a board as i would for a notice board without the ribbons as a flat surface for my gift boxes to rest on.  The lid of the suitcase has been turned into a no pin notice board with Stampin’ Up! gorgeous vintage faceted designer buttons and large pearls with add a bit off sparkle {and cover the staples ;) lol}
I will be back later in the week with details of my Easter gift baskets,  But for now just a quick reminder that Sale-a-Bration ends in 3 days so if there are any products you NEED from this fantastic promotion please be sure to get your order to me by 1pm Friday afternoon so that i can get it processed for you before the deadline.
Until next time
